KY_Tom

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.  I've been a lurker for awhile and have been very impressed by the information available on the forum plus the interaction and help offered.

I'm an old double retiree - first from the military and later from the computer/networking industry.  While in the military, I fell in love with the Eastern NC smoked pork.  After that, it was more bar-b-q in Alabama near Huntsville and then up into Tennessee and finally out to Memphis and St. Louis.  Our annual beach trips to Eastern NC, got the kids and grand-kids hooked, so I just had to get a smoker.

I chose a 'new' OBS with which I have had good luck doing primarily pork butts and turkey breasts.   I just recently added a second element and a dual channel Auber PID, so I am now ready to get serious.

Best Regards & Thanks in advance - Tom
