Dear smoker,

I have writen an excel file that will convert US measurement into metric (spoon into gram) for a single ingredient or a whole list of ingredient simultaneously (and is currently working on the metric to US). wonder if i can post it somewhere if you guys need it.

RJR1876;
Check the recipe forum. I think there might already be one on that site. I'd sure like to see yours though. I never did figure out how to post excel stuff on here. Have a good one.

Oldman

I believe the only way to share your converter is to post the formula(s)so that they can be added to someone's Excel program.

Or perhaps if your formula is in one file it can then be uploaded so that those who use an Excel program can download it and add it to their program.

BTW There are several different types of converters on the Recipe site. However, they only convert one item at a time.

If you can't find a website to host the file, I would like one emailed to me, if you can.

Hi RJR1876,

I have spoken to Bradley on a couple of occasions about a unit converter, I asked them to make this post:

http://forum.bradleysmoker.com/index.php?topic=3273.0

into a sticky but they never got around to it. They did ask the "simple machines forum" designers if there was any way of incorporating one but the answer was not any time soon!! My post above was the best I could come up with!

Think you may well be busy emailing it to everyone who would want a copy, would be popular on this side of the pond for starters!

Perhaps a locked sticky post giving the link to the relevant website would be best, need to get Bradley on board if that is the case. Sounds brilliant, well done.

Dear smokers,

I have emailed the file to Old, please give me your comment especially the conversion factors used as they are the ones I got from combining several books and online articles. Thank you.

Oldman

I have not recieved it yet, or it got trashed as I did not see something in the title to let me know it was not spam.

Re-send it and put in the title "From The Bradley Smoker Site."
