I think I've gotten the times and temps down to use the easy crusty bread dough to make my burger buns. 30 minutes at 350 with plenty of melted butter brushed on before they go in the oven seems to work best.

Last night we had burger's made with home ground chuck and pecan smoked cheddar slices (thanks to ragweed for suggesting smoked slices) done on the SRG, of course we had to use the fancy china for this meal.

Since I still had two buns left at dinner time tonight I thawed out some pulled pork that I had smoked on my 4 rack digital and made pulled pork sammies with some homemade bbq sauce and some red onion slices.

Both those look awesome Saber, that's some good eats!

Do you just do the buns on a regular baking sheet then, and at what step do you divide the bread dough? I might try this sooner or later too, I've made the crusty bread a couple more times now, and am getting good results.  I've really been enjoying both making and eating it, lol :P

Looks delicious Saber. I haven't ventured into breads yet but you certainly make it look worth the time.

I was given a hamburger bun pan so that's what I use but you can use a regular sheet pan, I've even seen recipes where they used a sheet pan and stainless steel rings like you use to fry eggs on a flat top. I divide the dough after I remove it from the bowl and do the quick kneading, before it sits to rise while the oven is warming up.

Dive in Rocky, after seeing the food you put out on your video the regular crusty bread recipe is so easy and would complement lot's of your lunches and the buns are a simple transition from the same recipe and would make for some great pulled pork sandwiches for you clients.
