Any of you Canadian guys ever hear of Corb Lund? He's one of my very favorite musicians and next to no one in the states has a clue who he is. I think he's fairly popular up there?

I'm also from Saskatchewan and have had issues with our cool climate (especially with the cool evenings and nights in summer) and cooking temp. When it's cold out it is impossible to reach 220-250 and keep it there. I'm not really sure how to solve this problem. I'm interested to hear of your cool weather experiences.
My name is Kayes, and I love meat.

alberta  edmonton area.  any wind will suck the heat right out of the smoker. a screen or garden shed/ overhead shelter out of the wind will make a lot of differance. hot water in the bowl,a heated foil wrapped brick to act as a heat sink will also help.lots of options use what ever you have. i put mine in a small garden shed with a vent in the top. no problem keeping heat up.
