The Chamber of Commerce in my little hometown has started an Annual Spring Wing Fling cookoff. Well I was personally asked if I would cook in the contest. Now most everyone here knows my thoughts on Chicken! YUCK Nasty Disease Infected Bird! However I said I would give it a shot. It goes like this.

Season up some practice wings with Gunpowder

Cook them wings in the Treager while smoking a Boston Butt and try the new sauce. Scratch sauce it sucked

Mix up a 6x batch of my homemade BBQ Sauce

Season up some more wings to test

Bottle up sauce

Fire up grill with Grill Grates cook wings and try BBQ Sauce

That'll Work

Get up at 3 pm go to work until 6 am lay down take nap from 7:30-9 am get up. Load truck go to site set up. Cook all day long (Roughly 75 pounds of Chicken wings) Enter into the 3 judged categories Original, BBQ, Unique. Come Home at 7:30 pm unload put stuff away go to bed at 9:30 pm. Wake up the next morning to vaguely remember walking on 2 of the 3 categories!! Lost peoples choice to chicken and waffle flavored wings. That group also took the Original plaque. My Unique Sauce was our rendition of a Alabama White Sauce

Nice work 10.5! I only see one thing wrong in your photos. You oughta be wearing a big 'ol s**t eatin' grin in the pic of you holding your awards! ;)
