How do I replace the motor?

I have determined that I need to replace my motor. I have purchased the replacement TYJ50-8B1 from yardandpool.com. I am stuck though, as I can not figure out how to remove the pin from the pivot arm. Are there step by step instructions on how to replace this motor?
