Hi from Las Vegas.  Just bought the nondigital Bradley Smoker.  Super excited!  Have tried ribs twice and failed but ready to try again this weekend with knowledge from this site.  Trying the recipe from Amazing ribs.com-- last meal ribs.  We'll see.  After I screwed up the ribs last weekend, I tried a peach pie.  Had frozen crust.  Put in peaches, flour, sugar, cinnamon and covered with crust and smoked with hickory pucks on as high as it would go (which was about 300) for 80 minutes and turned out great!  The crust was nice and smokey.  I had to do something to redeem myself after bad ribs two weeks in a row.Trying to figure out how to attach pix

Hi mywifeishot

Welcome to the forum. Is it; my wife I shot!; or my wife is hot! :)

To post pictures from your computer, the below link may be helpful.

If you already have a hosting site, skip down to step #4.

The recipe you are going to use, recommends not using the Texas Crutch. Though you can cook your ribs completely naked in the Bradley; the Texas Crutch works better then cooking completely naked. The below link uses the Texas Crutch method.

The user name made me laugh too when my wife and I realized how it looked last night!

I noticed you guys recommend the Texas crutch, so that's what I'm going to try this time with baby backs.
Thanks for all of your posts, very helpful!

Welcome aboard from St. Louis.  We used to vacation in Vegas on a regular basis but we haven't been there in a few years. We usually stayed at the Bellagio.

Anyway, here's the Reader's Digest version of how to post pics on the forum.

1. Create an account on a free host site such as Photobucket.
2. Upload your pic(s) to it.
3. Next to each pic you'll see an "IMG" box.  Click on that and the contents will automatically be copied onto your clipboard
4. Paste the contents into a new message on here.

You can verify that it worked before you post your message by clicking on the "Preview" button.  Also, if you plan on using Photobucket for lots of things it's a good idea to create multiple folders for different themes such as Food, Cars, Hobbies, etc.  It makes the pics much easier to find later.

Hi and welcome from South Dakota. If it's "My wife I shot", do you make house calls? (Just kidding, she's the only gal I know who would put up with all my nonsense)
Where there's smoke, there's HAPPINESS!!!

Thanks for all the tips.  I'll try to figure out the pix thing this week.
The wife I shot is funny cause I bought a gun last year and have never taken it out of the package and I don't even know how to load it or turn it on, but now my user name makes me look tough

Tough or lucky, depending on I shot or is hot. I'm going with lucky!
