Smoking link sausage

How long should I do this? I was thinking 3 hrs at 225 with hickory the whole time. It's store bought Eckerich sausage.


JK, I like a lighter smoke, so I used two hours of apple on the kielbasa I made last weekend.  Other sources that I've seen recommend about 21/2 hours of smoke.  Kind of depends if you are a heavy smoke person or lighter smoke person.
