Is the meat supposed to pull back from the bone while it's in the foil or after? -2-2-1

I have had it pull back a little before foil but mostly in the foil. I think it depends on the meat itself. Anyways as long as it pulls back at least 1/2 inch you should be good. You can do the toothpick test by sticking it in and if it goes in easy they are done.
