I'm wondering were  us Canadian smokers/sausage makers are getting there casings from. Locally I can't find any place that sells collagen casings. I have to travel 2hrs to a Bass pro shop. I can also go to a butcher supply company that's closer, but they only accept cash.

So why not make list to see where your buying your casings form

I buy all my sausage supplies from stuffers.com
They are located in B.C

How do you find the cost of shipping from the west coast to the east coast. ?

Johnny

Well its not too bad I guess, I usually make an order large enough to make it worth my while. For example, not long ago I ordered 25 lbs of soy protein along with a bunch of small items and I think shipping was around 30$.

Johnny

They ship everything by Canada post expedited and thats about the lowest rate of shipping I think.

There are a lot of stores that sell the casings and sometimes the curing salts too.
What part of Canada are you in? Maybe I can send you a few stores to try that are in your general area.
