Just checking in .  Only smoked about 3 things in my life.  Always on a bbq with a side smoke box. I love it but really struggled keeping the temp in the ideal range. I really don't know what I am doing, haha. Hoping to learn here.  A smoker has never been in my budget and smoked meats are too expensive so I have waited patiently for a miracle, haha.  I went to an estate sale and purchased 2 electric smokers for $10 each.  The lady said because they are dirty, she can't sell them for more. One is a Bradley so when I got home I ran to the computer to find out more. That is how I found this forum. I don't have any user manuals yet but it came with plenty of the wood pucks and she swore they worked great.  My very first question is how in the world should I clean it?  Not afraid to use elbow grease but hoping someone has a tip to soften the crustiest first.  So excited to start!

Thank you, I looked everywhere. But couldn't find that post.  I thought I had done it wrong.  I thought I posted to introduce yourself but it never showed up, haha. How do I find it? :)
