i've had a base model bradley smoker for about 10 years and it finally got past a serviceable condition. was highly satisfied with the use over the years. so i made the mistake and "upgraded" to the "smart" smoker. i am not going to bore everyone with the miriad of issues, but after 6 months of use and countless problems, having to finish most cooks with another source (oven or grill), and no help from bradley, it looks as if i may have to give up. i contacted them thru email with a very detailed list of issues and got a standard answer about the app, and they did not address any of the other issues which were the bulk of the list. After i responded back to them and asked for rest of information, i have not received another response. i am probably up to 15-20 inquiries, posts thru every source i could to try and get someone's attention, absolutely nothing. it seems like a lot of issues with smart smoker and looking for some guidance from anyone that has been successful in getting help. other than those who have had one self-combust, anyone tried blowing theirs up and getting some satisfaction?....ha

Well, you didn't even mention one issue your having. How do you expect anyone to help/point you in the right direction. Bradly has the best customer service of ANY company I know.

I thought it odd that you've been a Bradley user for over 10 years and this was your Post #1.  There are always 2 sides to every story and everything you've posted thus far is negative.  It would be interesting to hear what the Bradley folks think of your supposed problems.  I've had very few issues with my unit and it is at least 10 years old and going strong.  Every time I contacted them (ALWAYS BY PHONE), they were very concerned with my issues and did everything they could to fix them.  From your post here, I'm guessing that your attitude or demeanor with them was less than amicable.

If you'd REALLY like some help with your issues, you would be well advised to CALL Bradley and talk to them direct.  While they may ignore your emails, they always answer their phones when contacted during normal business hours.  Good luck.
