Enjoyed talking with you tonight. Went looking and I'm still looking, and this one is a little more dangerous looking and might scare the neighbors but..... what is your opinion on it?

It is not cheap and Susan might get on my case but what heck... MSRP is $2,149.99. It works with standard M16-style magazines.

EDIT: This is their SEMI-AUTO CARBINE!

I don't know about Chez......but if I was your neighbor and saw you wandering around the backyard with this thing, a 'FOR SALE' sign would go up ASAP. Yikes man.....

No if you lived in my neighborhood you would have the same weapons that the 19 year old has... and they are the real deal AK-47s... this gun is somewhat tame when you look at a full auto AK-47...

Some folks must live is some very private / protected places.

Yikes Olds, it might be easier to move to a safer neighborhood, maybe Baghdad ??? ???  And I thought those shutters you installed were for protection against hurricanes ;)

More like civil, community minded and safe, but your right Olds, and not a day goes by that I don't thank my 'Lucky Stars' for not feeling the NEED for an assault weapon.......I know...different folk different circumstances. Cheers  :)

Tom,

Are you trying to insinuate that law-abiding citizens should not be able to purchase a method of protection from societal whack-jobs because a societal whack-job went over the edge? 300 million people in this country and if a minute percentage go nuts we should control an object? What's the next object-of-choice for said whack-job? Is that next on the ban list?

What if the teacher had a carry permit & was allowed by the school to excercise his/her rights? Would that have changed the outcome? We'll never know, but I know which situation I would choose if given the preference.

If you think the police can protect you & your loved ones 24/7, you are seriously naive. I have several great friends that are/were officers & they are overwhelmed by calls, resulting in hours-long delays of response. And that's here in a little no-nothing town in Indiana.

Don't get me wrong, what happened today was extremely unfortunate & I believe we should all take steps towards keeping it from happening again. However, until society regards removing the freaks as a higher priority than removing the devices, we will get nowhere. Freaks & criminals will always find a way to do.

I asked before to not dip into the political & warned I might speak my mind. You did, I did.

Let's get back to talkin' smokin'. It's so much more enjoyable. :)

Kirk, Kirk, I was insinuating no such thing and nothing could be further from the truth.  The Amish tragedy just happened to be gun related "breaking news" while I was online, following a Smoker's thread on the merits of, and need for a $2200, semiautomatic, 223, bullpup, assault weapon. Not just for the fun of shooting at a range, but for protection in a Floridian neighborhood.

I do it find it amusing that threads only become "political" when I or other members offer dissenting opinions on what many might consider controversial and objectionable original posts, on a website ostensibly developed to share smoking techniques, recipes, and barbequing experiences.

Good Night, and Good Luck.
:)

Kirk if i were going thru gary indiana i would have a humvee fully loaded with goodies. But if i were in florida i might be thinking lighter in that area. ;D.Just trying to keep it light guys. Now back to are regular schuledle program smoking 24-7 . :D :D :D

I agree Tom, this should not have been a Bradley Forum Topic. It should have been a PM, email, telephone call or best yet...a post on a Gun Forum. That's my last words. Cheers all
