put the sierra nevada down and it quickly becomes complicated...

there are only 2 usa citizens in yuma az and the mayor aint one of them...

i need a shot of patron...

that ftc really freaks me out...

Well if 195 is seems to high.Why is it my butt looks and taste awesome not dry at all not one spot.HAHAHAH lol.The reason it looks like a ashed but is because i double rub it .To give it more bark.And the apple juice spray does the rest.Here is one done from start to finish at 195 temps.With nothing at all done to it .I just put it in the smoker and let it rip.






Here is a butt rub down and then recoated before i put it in the smoker.DOUBLE RUB. ;D



The rub is layed on real heavy.REal heavy






Just another weekend with the smoker...

Y'all have come a long way. Lots of good advice on the physics of heat & time, although that comes from someone who got a D+ on the subject in college! :o

FWIW, I take mine to 187-195. Always juicy, just enough bark to mix in. Hundreds of Indianapolisians rave about the results every year, but hey, maybe because it's free. (Kinda. ;))

I have a recipe here for that kind of thing - not sure if it is the same as Bubba's:

Ingredients:
2 bottles good wine
Several carats of diamonds

Proceedure:
1. Get woman rip-roaring drunk.
2. Present with diamonds.
3. Protect yourself from inevitable sexual attack.

Fur coats work too! (Trust me)!!! ;) Still need the rip roaring though. :D
