Pork and Ice Cream

Well I don't have anything to pick today, but within a few days these three get eaten~~! Notice all of the Slips at the base. In about 2 years or so each of them will give me a nice pineapple  [:D]

Going to smoke some pork and finish up with homemade pineapple ice cream. I will totally crush one pineapple for favoring, and then dice up one for the eating. Now that is Pineapple ice cream~~! The other one my Mother told me I better give to her  [V]  However, Mother does know about the other 4 that are fruiting LOL! I just have to keep her out of my garden.

You really have a perfect combination, right? Pork is a great viant while pineapple ice cream is a great dessert with a great and happy family.

I have never had a fresh picked pineapple from a garden. I love pineapple but have only had canned or one from a grocery. Garden tomatoes are way way better than any store bought, I was wondering if the same is true with pineapples.

It all sounds so good!
I'll have to try to make some pineapple ice cream sometime.
Smokeitall gave me a recipe for apricot ice cream this summer and it was great!
