Pre-purchase ?: Stainless vs Epoxy

Is the only difference the outer skin, or is the inside of the smoker stainless as well?

Als, how durable is the epoxy finish? Has anyone had issues with chipping or corrosion?

to answer one of your questions the smoker is stainless on the inside
as well as out probably makes for easy clean up.
but for the extra hundred dollars i can scrub a little harder.

The inside of either of the smokers is aluminium, the exteriors of both are steel. The black one is a baked-on powder coating, the stainless is, well, stainless.

The only difference in the two is the asthetic value, which isn't worth the extra money in my opinion. If you abuse stainless, it will rust. If you abuse the black coating it will rust. I smoke in rain & snow, take moderate care of my smoker & it holds up just fine.

Also, I've heard the stainless looks great for a while, but becomes high maintenance to keep looking good after a while. My black one still looks great after two years of hard use.

I humbly stand down. I confirmed with Bradley today & they indicated that the inside is indeed stainless on the stainless model, not aluminum as I had contended. That must be a wrong understanding on my part, I have never had a stainless model apart to see with my own eyes. Sorry for any confusion.
