Hello everyone!  I have been reading this forum as a guest for a couple weeks.  I have always wanted a BS and I have really become obsessed with getting one recently.  Well, my wife got tired of hearing it and she knew I would be reluctant to buy one myself...  She bought me one.  She ordered an OSB and it is on the way.  I am really excited about it!

I have just put in an order for a pack of apple and a pack of maple bisquettes and I can't wait to get started.

Hi Ted.  I've had my OBS for less than 2 months, and I love it.  Doing my longest smoke to date this weekend when I do some pulled pork to munch on while watching the Daytona 500.

Welcome Ted, as a fellow newbie, I can only echo what the others said, this is the best place to get information, share recepies and discuss questions or problems. I got mine for Xmas (I have a good wife too!) and love it, have used it almost every weekend since. And like the others said, once your wife tastes the stuff you turn out, she will be behind you 100%, mine is! Don't be a stranger,and remember, the only dumb question is the one that goes unasked.
