Pork Butt Rub & Vac

I got a nice 5pnd butt. I wanted to put it in my reveo but it just wont fit. Anyone ever put it in a vac bag after rubbing?

Man, I've got a comment for that one, but I won't let myself say it out of good taste and it being Good Friday....any other day I'm all over it. :D

      Great question Nepa ,I just picked up an 8# butt ! I've never used a vacuum  but I think I can do it with my vac sealer. I guess I would need a bag.

I did the pork belly in vacuum bags and it turned out fine.  So I would think a butt should work too.

Should be fine Nepas, i use vaccum sealing for curing and marinating, if anything i'd say it's an improvement  ;)
