He's been logging on. He was last active on the 12th. He must too busy to post, and monitors. I know he responds to a post if further information is needed. I've cut down on my posting, due to being involved in other things. A lot of times, after logging on I will only choose posts by subject title.

I can understand that.  Here lately I have been pretty busy and slightly down in the health department and have apparently rubbed a couple of fairly new members the wrong way.  I may think about letting the others have at it and just focus on areas that I may be able to help out.  I am not an expert on ANY form of electronics and have very little input in a couple of other areas as well.  Spent too many frustrating years at work prior to retirement and do not need to have frustration on this forum.  My youngest completes his welding courses this December and the wife and I will travel more starting next summer so I may not be on this forum as much anyway.

Hey Wildcat don't sweat the rubbed the wrong way feeling ........ after all we are on a forum ........My opinion of any forum is  a place where you can  ask and/or opioninate at will ............. most of us like me  ASK ......... sitting by the comp while we wonder if our meat will be edible hoping for a quick OPINION ....... from any one who may be on .............. Then after the OPINION  we decide if it's right for us .............. and I for one have always valued your OPINION............. so if you see a post from me I would like a quick opinion right or wrong ............... my motto for my whole life and I have driven it into my kids (4 daughters) they even repeat it to my once in a while and after hearing it life always looks a little clearer for them ( the whole boy friend / girl gossip thing)

BELIEVE HALF OF WHAT YOU SEE .... AND EVEN  LESS OF WHAT YOU HEAR !  8)

and after seeing Extreme makeovers home addition last night I love that one

THERES ALWAYS A LOT TO THINK ABOUT ........... BUT NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT !

that was from a gentleman named matt dying from cancer and kept repeating it to his fanily through the whole ordeal,.

any way for way its worth thats  my  OPINION..... ( ok maybe just venting a few of my own sub-concious things here.  ) .........oh and by the way I  got my first catfish in the brine and smoking tonight  . later  ;D
If ya go home hungry ........ You were at the wrong House!!

Wildcat, I wish you would focus on those of us that have followed your advice and have benefited from your wisdom rather than focusing on a few who may have misunderstood.  A forum is for sharing and when we share ideas we share opinions.  There have always and will always be differences of opinions.  The important thing is to take it all with a grain of salt and to profit from what is beneficial to each of us.  I, for one, hope you don't elect to take a back seat and that you continue to contribute.  I know that I have learn invaluable knowledge by just reading and applying what appealed to my knowledge base.  Again, thanks for your effort.

Nice guys.  I hope I have helped a few.  I will still be here.  I will just be a little more selective in what I respond to.

Headgames, I will respond as fast as possible to any questions you may have.  Let me know how that catfish turns out.  I have never smoked fish but am considering it.

I have an uncle that used to smoke tons of fish, but he did things a lot different than I have seen on here.  His were sliced very thin and really tasted great.  He had a smoke shack (kind of like a small barn) that he built.  He lives in St. Augustine, Florida and the next time I get over there I am going to put him in a headlock until he shares his secret.  I will bet that with his method and the BS advantage, mine will be better.  I will need to do so soon because I do not think he smokes fish anymore and is getting on in years.

Wildcat: I've always found you to be a decent guy, with a  really nice manner. I've certainly never seen you post anything which may upset anybody ???, in fact quite the opposite.

Sure sometimes things may come accross the wrong way, that happens on all forums, as for not being expert in some areas, i don't think anybody can claim to be expert in all things?, so with everybody giving help and advice on the things they are experienced with, adds another piece to the jigsaw puzzle of knowledge here.

I have learned a lot from this forum, and i also like to think i have helped others, i think that's what we all do one way or the other, and that's what makes this community so great!

You are a valued member here Wildcat, and i really hope you continue with your input  ;)

You hold him in the headlock Wildcat while I wave a rack of ribs in front of his nose until he gives in and spills the beans to us!!! ;D :D ;)

Gizmo

Ice, that is not fair.  I bet you'll even put some of that there Sopin' Truth syrum sauce on it.  Good thing the CIA doesn't have the recipe.  Nobody would have a secret any more.

LilSmoker - I will still give my inputs.  I may back off just a little at times.

Good idea Ice but make it chicken vice ribs.  He loves fish and chicken.  Your sauce WILL be required.  Speaking of sauce, I am down to the last jar and need to get with you about that short coming here in the near future.

You are right on the money Gizmo.  Iceman could become a very rich man if he would sell that stuff in the lower 48 IMO.

Wildcat;
I think I know how you feel. Two and a half years ago I retired from a very frustrating state position. The ten years before retirement I was working 10 to 20 extra hours per week (not overtime because I was on salary), and was on call the rest of the time. So shortly after retiring I took the position that I don't have to put up with crap any more. Over the past year, I've mellowed out (a little); and the negative responses don't irk me anymore. I just smirk at the screen and move to the next post. A phrase that our "Lost Member" said that now sticks with me; "Life is too short". Believe me, I've taken plenty of heat on this thread, and I'm still plugging along.

On the other thread I was about to respond then I saw your thread; you had already covered what I was going to say. So thanks for taking the heat on that one for me. :) Your advice was right on. If the full problem was described at the beginning, he would have had a "work around" solution much earlier.

You guys are too much.  You are friends indeed.  I think I need to learn to mellow a little more as well.  I did not mean to give you guys the impression I was going to stop posting here.  I just wanted to slow down a bit and be more selective.  I have been reading posts multiple times each day and it is hard to keep up.  With being rushed I think I have upset at least two members and one of them by accident.  This just made things frustrating and I did a knee jerk kind of thing.  Venting I guess.  Our friend LS recently gave me some advice that was exactly what I had said in another thread.  Seems like here lately I am having a hard time practicing what I preach.  I never want to hurt anyone and when I do so accidently, it just really gets to me.

The back pain is more acceptable now.  Thanks for asking.  Mabe I got a few more years left in my back afterall. ;D
