crater lake or 06-01-08

i called the crater lake and asked if the rim was open... they said the north entrance was closed but the west entrance was open... i asked if the rim was open... they said yes it was open but you had to use the west entrance...

so we got up there with great anticipation of riding the rim and taking it all in... just to be informed that the rim was closed... the confusion was the road was open to the rim village... when i was talking about the rim road that goes around the entire lake... o well...

it was great to ride in the fresh crisp air... taking in all the scenery... you or-a-goons have it going on... mt hood next weekend...
