Hopefully you won't think this a dumb question, but is the CCTV cameras night vision compatible (i.e. capable of utilizing the infrared light for illumination)?  What is the viewing angle of the lens on the camera?  What distance do you want to cover?

Rat,
I have a friend that use to do a lot of security and video survellance work.  If you want, let me know what camera brand and model you have, I'll ask him what the best IR model would work for you.
