As posted previously on my test-runs with this temperature controller, it is worth every penny.  Truly a set-it and forget it.  No cutting.  No having to understand polarity and installing switches.  You just plug the cabinet into the Raptor controller, plug in the controller, and plug in two wires.  With this you don't need a Maverick or the door thermometer.  Just put in the pucks for the time you want to smoke, advance the pucks, set your smoker temp and desired meat temp, turn on the Guru, silence the alarms, and walk away.  Coming back in 4 hours to rotate the meat is up to you.  It allows you to cook to perfection with no hassle.

It controls the temp to the gnat's ass.  Truly trouble free.  The bonus is that if you get a different smoker, BBQ or even a pit, you can use the control module and just have to get the fan controller that matches the new Pit/cooker/BBQ.
