Need some Help?

I ordered a OBS for my Mom in early August from Amazon (shipping was free) for $299. Now I'm being told it cannot be shipped until "maybe" Feb./March it was supposed to be delivered in September originally. Firstly...I have no idea why the delay? Secondly...when I brouse other websites (including Bradley) it's $60 bucks more and I have to pay for shipping. Now...let me be clear...I'm not cheap (it's my Mom) but I thought I remembered reading something about heating elements on back order? Did I dream that? I know there are dealers out there...or at least somebody can tell me why the HUGE delay? Help?

Tiny is a dealer and so is Bryan. I usually chat with Tiny on Tuesday nights chat room. If I make it I'll be happy to ask him about the delays for you. We need to figure something out for you. That's just not right at all. Pat

Yeah...thanks Ice...I"ve been sharing all of my fun results with her and now it's kind of a let down. She lives in Florida and we really wanted to try cold smoking "together" as we both live in very hot climates. Any help would be great! I'd love to order from somebody on the site...

Sorry to hear about the delay. Last I spoke with Bradley the OBS were on backorder until the first of next month. We have been trying to get them for 3 months now. They have had a surge of business that they were unprepared for. We do have the OBS in stainless steel in stock.  Let us know if we can help you out at all.

I'll bet the surge in business has a lot to do with this forum.

This site is like a cheesy infomercial, only you actually get what's advertised.

Combine this with pictures, and suddenly you have a supply chain issue.
