Thought you could see the smoke but i guess not  :o


Have some homemade pintos and seranno going too  ;D


All smoked up with the chili verde ready for the 300* oven for 2 hrs  ;D

Great looking dish Nepa. I need to start bringing a better lunch if I have to sit here and look at food like that every day :P :D

yumm.

We do Carnita's more Renownd Mr Brown start.  We do the rub recipe from Smoke n Spice for Renowned Mr Brown Rub and smoke it till done (lots of hours).  Then shreed it as normal.

Then for New Mex Carnitas we make a traditional New Mex Red Chili Sauce and toss the Shredded pork in and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes and use in whatever presentation (Sopapilla or Burrito or plain).

I make the carnitas the way my mother tought me. Just a twist in the making with some smoke.
