And for those of you who do not want the bite, I tried some of Ice's mild formula last night on some freshly pulled pork and it tastes exactly the same only without the bite.  Next time I boil some fresh gulf coast shrimp, I am going to substitute c0cktail sauce with Ice's regular sauce.

Did I just read Iceman's sauce is good on eggs?

Turkey breast a la Stickbowcrafter & now eggs with BBQ sauce.

And with CFL playoffs on Sunday, maybe it's time to brew my first batch of Chili for the season.

So many projects for the weekend.

Hey Olds, be thankful your Mom likes pulled pork.  When my parents come over, I practically have to beg them to try new things.

"Your father doesn't like Garlic".

"Jeff, don't make those weird homemade burgers of yours with fresh ground beef.  Just buy them Frozen like normal people."

"That chicken salad looks delicious.  Oh did you say it's curried chicken salad?  No we wont try any.  Even though wev'e never tried it, we don't like currie."

"Your father doesn't want to try fresh Salmon.  He only likes Salmon from a can."

FROM A CAN FOR HEAVEN'S SAKES!!!!!

Have to laugh about our parents and our relationships with them.  Can't wait to see what my kids think of me some day.

Same here.  I'll eat anything once.  If I don't like it, I'll never eat it again.  If I like it, I'll probably go on the internet to try to figure out how to make it myself.

Well the topic has change a little so I hope you all are sitting down... Many years ago when I was a young man I saw some "Monks" take a live monkey and place it in a center hole of a table. They closed the two half of the table around the monkey.  The monkey could stand up, the the hole closed around its neck very tightly.

Next, they took this metal item and cracked the skull above the eyes of the monkey. Once the top of the skull was off they ate the brains. The monkey was still alive at that point.

Sorry there are just some things I will not eat, and I bet you will not either.

Er, i think you're right Olds, i wouldn't fancy that!............although i might venture to dipping my bread in there, like with a soft boiled egg!

Just kidding, you're absolutely right Olds, i wouldn't want the adventure going in that direction!

So i'm ammending my statement:

I'll eat almost anything and almost everything!

Thankfully, I had almost finished my lunch when I read Olds' last post.............. (Couldn't reply right away because I didn't have my keyboard back on my desk yet and didn't want to move it again [how lazy is that?])

I have had friends in the military (while I was active duty) that told me of folks over there eating monkey brains (fresh and raw).  This could be the original source of some of our modern day incurable dieases since monkeys have many of them.

There is a "documentary" video called "Faces of Death" that shows that meal being prepared at a restaurant table in Africa.
