if somone tells me how to put a pic in here i will put up a very nice looking pig ;D

You need to have your picture hosted somewhere. I use Image Cave. http://www.imagecave.com/

You then need to use the "insert picture" button and insert the URL link back to the hosted picture.

It will look similar to this: "[img_tag]http://usera.imagecave.com/strauch1/PID/Plateau.jpg[/img_tag]"

armpower,

Outstanding! I think others are helping on the tags that surround your URL. Next steps are to size your picture to fit the forum, and allow people to click on it to enlarge.

Enjoy.

You had the location of you photo inbetween the img similar to the first line. It should be like the second line, except no spaces.

It should look like this;

{img}http://usera.imagecave.com/armpower/pig.JPG{/img}

Except in the above example I used these brackets {} instead of the correct ones [] so you could see them.

thanks alot guys   so how do i change the size thing??

ps cant wait to taste

Gizmo

Thanks for catching that mistake I made Mike.  I should have clicked on the picture insert button to see the slash after the left bracket.

I am not sure about the site you used.  I use Photo Bucket and they have a setting you can choose when you upload.  I have them all upload for a standard web post size.

I use Adobe Photo SHop to resize photos. I usually resize to 800 x 600 before I upload them to what ever site your storing them at. There are alot of programs you can use to resize with.
