Newbie question here- just what exactly is a "Fattie?"

I mean it LOOKS incredible, but I have no idea what it is.

I made some "fatties" over the weekend. I think Nepa's started a post with the recipe. Its 4 # ground beef with 1 # ground bacon , spices and smoked. End result is a delicious salami like log that I use for snacking. Today, I am going to slice some like a lunch meat and have it in sandwaiches for lunch. It is VERY easy to make and tastes great.
