Well today we had our last meeting for the next 18 months with an Investigator from DSS. He really liked my Security and Industrial Protocols I wrote for the business.

Anyway we have been upgraded from an Interim Clearance to Full Clearance. Now the fun begins as I have a list of 18 or so large DOD contractors in this area.

On another note, I've been modifying a 30" wide vacuum clearer to run silent. The vacuum motor's dp are now just a little louder than the brush & brush drive motor noise. I found a small car muffler that I will install tomarrow. At that point I believe in the area of the vac motors I will reach my goal.

After that I will address the bush's and drive brush motor's sound...I have a couple ideas that I believe will eliminate those sounds. The reason I'm doing this is I have coming up a large 24/7/365 call center. The one thing they do not want to hear is a tri-motor vacuum cleaner. Also it will allow us to vacuum during normal business hours for companies that are closed at night; thus reducing their power bill at night for the lighting.

When I'm done I will post images.

Congrats on the clearnace Olds!

How long did it take from day one till you got your final clearance?

I've heard that for a Secret Level Clearance working in the defense industry takes about 18 months to get a final clearance.

Again, congrats!!!
