Also, the Bubba Pucks get VERY hot so be sure to make sure they have cooled down before trying to handle then.

Agree 1000%.  Even if you had them on the plate during pre-heat, and were careful taking them off and setting them on top of your unit....use tongs, gloves, or something else to load them on top of your bisquette stack on the generator.

Been there, done that, lost my fingerprints for a few days...absentmindedness hurts.

Received my pucks on Saturday and used them on Monday smoking a turkey roast.  Thanks everyone.
