HOLY CRAP!!!  Figgured out what ATB's are... MAN am I HUNGRY NOW!!!  Geez.. I gotta pick up some Jallies. Wow, that sounds good. I have made them on the barbeque ( Canucklehead for grill) and they were excellent. But, out of the OBS.... meeeee-an!!  That sounds good. What do you think the best smoke is for them?

Ok. So you know I worked at that gas plant a few years back. You were gone before I started there though. Around the lunch table you were talked about like a legend and the picture of you thrashing with Darcy S in the mud is still on the wall in the lunchroom. I met a lot of good people there. Great plant. Gus C, Derrick S, Nicole G, Will L,  just to name a few. Irvin B hired me. I had issues moving from home here in Kitimat BC when my plant shut down and laid us all off so I moved there. I was not used to that kind of move having the wife here working a good job, so I came back and got a hospital job. FB=Facebook
I love the coast!
Nice to finally meet the legend.

Ok, now THAT is funny.  A legend huh? Wow... too bad they wouldnt have told me when I was there. Ha Ha...  A legend. I dunno about that. Just a normal bull headed german dummy. I have to admit, that made me laugh.

We still keep in touch with a few guys. Derrick and his wife, cause he and I were on shift quite a while, and his daughter and mine are good buddies. Palmer, cause he was on my crew, and he is just a good dude. Well, lots of the guys. Yeah, it was a fun place to work for me, cause the guys were so good.

Ahhhh... FACEBOOK!! oK, I will add you as a freind.

Man, did my ribs and brisket and chicken ever turn out good. I think that I left a few bisquettes a bit too long, cause of having to do it manually. The smoke was a teeeeny bit bitter, but man was that juicy, tender meat.

The legend..  thats funny.

Good ole Fox Creek. Ernie O's and the Grizzly. Just a little too small for me tho. I am gonna try and get Derrick here in Kitimat one of these years for fishing. Smoke up some springs (Kings to the Americans). He was talking about it a few times when I was there.

Yup, my uncle had his boat moored in Kitimat. It was one of the larger boats in the docks down there. I think it was a 44' Bayliner. Leather interior, marble counter tops, twin 330 hp cummins diesels. We fueled up every day in Hartley bay, and stayed a few nights in that little secluded bay.. McDonalds bay? Cant remember,  but we could only get in there during high tide.

My dad is looking for a 28 to 30' Bayliner cabin jobby right now. He has bid on a couple in the states, but they keep saying they are tied up legally, or some stupid excuse. Looks like they dont want to sell to Canadians or something. He hopes to have one soon though, cause we will be down there again fishing. I caught a 65lb halibut last time, but it was a bit too big. The meat was pretty grainy.

Alright Bradley! My replacement smoke generator showed up yesterday! All I need to do is test it, and see if this one advances the pucks. Have to pick up some ribs I guess, and make up a meal. My temp control plastic thingy cracked the first time I used this thing too, but IM not going to worry about that.I have used it twice already, just manually changing out the bisquettes. Thats pretty darn good customer service. --Bob

Once you get the generator sorted out I would give them a call and have them send you a new plastic panel. It's a noted problem and you don't want moisture getting into it from there. Here is a current post on it which has a few solutions as well.

Ok mike, will do! I guess that sliding rheostat in there probably doesnt like moisture huh? It is finally getting back to normal weather here, so I will have to do up some ribs and maybe some chicken. Cant wait. No lie, we got three feet of snow. I was starting to get the itch to start seeding, the ground was drying up, things were looking great. Then, BAM. The snow was so deep, I had to stop a few times, cause the snow was piling up on the hood of my company truck, and I couldnt see!

Its almost barbeque and smokin time! Yummmm.
