I want to try my first meatloaf this weekend, but I also want to smoke some country style pork ribs.  I understand that meatloaf takes on smoke very quick and I don't want to over smoke it.

Can I do these two at the same time without over smoking the meatloaf?

We usually use around 4 biscuits when we smoke, I was thinking 1 oak, 2 pecan 1 maple....too much for meatloaf?

I would think that since ribs take longer than the meatloaf you could start the ribs then toss in the meatloaf halfway through the smoke on the ribs. After the smoke just pull the meatloaf out when it's done and keep the ribs in until done.
Oh and directions to the house and dinner bell time would be nice :D ;) ;D
