In the event of my death---Olds

Sitting here this morning a good thought came across my mind. Given the outreach by this community for the Hab fund I now know that there are members here that will support with their $$$ the recipe site itself in the event of my death.

I've always been one who has a backup plan. When it came to the recipe site and my death I was not sure how to keep it going. Let's face it when you are dead there is not a whole hellva lot you can do. I now know with great pride that the members here would not let the recipe site die with me.

This is a good thing -- knowing that the thousand and thousand of hours we have spent creating the best smoker recipe site in the world will not go bust.

Again I'm very pridefull of you, the members, of this community.

Olds...geeezzz...no "getting hit by a bus talk" ! I am truly thankful that you have done what you have...and I agree...we all need a "backup" but...dude...you're still a young man....so...no more of that nonsense!!! :)

I am grateful for all of the members who have stepped up with the Hab fund...well worth the investment in our collective smoking futures!! :)

I know what you are trying to convey and you are correct but I don't think any of us are ready to go to that plan because we need you around for a long long time.  You still have WAY too much to contribute to the website and to each of us personally as we cross your path.  (Again, thanks for the phone call to our house )

Hey Olds,

Just the fact that you are planning says alot about the type of person that you are and how much you care about the people here.   I (as a fairly new smoker) just want to say that I REALLY appreciate the wealth of information that you have collected and maintained on the site.    It has truly helped me to become a better cook.

Now,  with that said.....   YOU CAN'T GO ANYWHERE!   Be careful and don't get into any freak accidents or anything!    ::) ::)

We NEED you around this place!
