Smoking Duck

We all know we love smoked foods, but I got to wondering what were people's tastes in music?  I believe music can tell us a lot about people, much like the types of food we smoke (with exception to the Seemores; not sure what smoking tongue tells us about them  ;D).  I think it would be interesting to know, and I promise I won't even giggle when Mr. Walleye tells us he likes a good polka ;) ;D

My listening tastes run to country when the wife is in the car but if I'm by myself, I'm really into things like Nickelback and Kid Rock.

In fact, the song that has the most meaning to me these days is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76i6aZgo2io

So what do YOU listen to?

Steeler....she's a keeper!

I listen to all kinds of music--from country to rock to jazz, blues. That being said I am selective about which artists I will listen to. I like good guitarists--Stevie Ray Vaughn, Buddy Guy, Susan Tedeschi(went to a Buddy Guy concert a few weeks ago--at age 72 he's still got it!). My country tastes run to alt country/rock kind of stuff--Wilco and some Canadian guys you won't have heard of(Corb Lund and the Hurtin Albertans, Fred Eaglesmith, Blue Rodeo, for example). I'm also a sucker for songs with great lyrics that tell a story. Here's a link as an example by Corb Lund and the Hurtin Albertans--it makes me laugh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDY6bWT5oTM

C
Well, its a proven fact that broccoli is in fact evil.

Here are the facts...

Change the Bro into the letter E

the double c 'cc' in some culture no one has discovered most likely can represent the letter v in our language.

Swap the 'li' for its reciprocal being 'il'

thus making 'evil'

Now, that noise pawned off as music known as rap, just add the second 'c' from broccoli and that helps show us what it truly is.

Broccoli is awesome.....forget about the fun I have when it makes me gassy, but a slab of butter and some sea salt...sweet jimmy crack corn.....that's about as healthy eating as I get.

And as far as Kid Rock is concerned, the dude hangs with Bocephus..' nuff said  ;D

My good brother Smoking Duck. I will have to make it my mission to try and to save you from this broccoli brainwashing. You can be saved before its to late.

Broccoli is scientifically proven to shorten ones life span to potentially 60 or 70 years. This was a test done in the University of Mesopotamia 'ironically the school has been defunct for about a few thousand years but thats besides the point'.

Here is some meditation music to help you by Johnny Winter.

If you notice, there is no broccoli on the stage thus insuring a good show.

I'm as country as soup beans and corn bread. Love country music. Give me one lively chorus of a Sugarland song.
May the fragrance of thin blue smoke always grace your backyard.
