Here is another recipe for nuts i found again.
1 lb pecan halves
1 lb almonds
1 lb mixed nuts
Pre heat your smoker to 125*. If you have rack screens use them. Evenly spread the nuts on the screened racks. Smoke for 20 mins with your fav wood puck. After the 20 mins move nuts around or flip them with a spatula.
You can smoke longer if you like a mors smokey flavor.
After smoking place nuts in a new (non recycled brown paper bag) Add 1 T granulated garlic, 1 T onion powder, 1 T cayenne pepper. Shake the bag to coat nuts. Put nuts in a bowl and let come to room temp. I also add 1 T of bbq sauce in the bowl and mix in.
