Hopeful

Did another batch of 10.5's maple flavored bacon, let this batch sit for 6 days.  Had some odds and ends when I finished slicing so i fried them up.  Man, that is some good bacon :).  Posting photos is a new experience for me, hope the photos work.

Good looking bacon Hopeful.  The pics didn't show but the links worked.  If you have a hard time with posting pics, try photobucket.com.  I've never had a problem posting pics using photobucket.

Again, nice looking bacon!

Fantastic looking bacon there Hopefull, thats a bit better looking cut of Belly than I am getting here. Yours looks more meaty. Once you get used to having it around it seems to get to be part of your cooking rotation. I'm loading up now on belly and Canadian Bacon for x-mas hand outs.

Hopeful you can send the thanks to Habs it was his recipe. I just took the pics and tweaked it a little with the maple powder.

No thanks necessary, most of that recipe I've picked up from others. You went through the trouble of documenting each step, which I believe got many members interested in making their own bacon. Documenting with pictures is not an easy task when there are so many steps and other things to do. Something I rarely have the patience's for.
