Hey everyone,

This year we are having the family over our house for Christmas Day. It has been "requested" by the wife for me to make beef brisket and pulled pork.

Do you think I could use a combination of woods like oak and apple and do these at the same time or do you think I should do these in two separate smokes? I have done these both before but never together. It would be much easier if I could do these at the same time.

Thanks,

Bryan

By all means, Bryan.  Do them at the same time.  The combo of pucks should work great.  When combining the two in the same smoke, I always putt the pulled pork above the brisket in the Bradley.  Take advantage of the delicious droppings from the pulled pork on the brisket!  If you get a chance, post some pics!

I agree. You can combine both flavors, but if I had to go with one I would go with oak.
