The view from my place

Had a beautiful afternoon the other day and our 5 year old told mom she should get a picture.  Here it is, hope what you are seeing out your back door looks good too!

The problem with the view is that I sometimes find it difficult to pry my butt out of the chair and head to work!  Car54, have been know to throw a line in the water from time to time.  Westexas it is our little slice of heaven.  Island life can be limiting but there are advantages too.  Have seen whales, sea lions, seals, otters, eagles, deer and bear looking out that door!

Smokeitall, let me just say I find myself awake between 3-4 AM most days.  Never knew why until we moved here.  Honestly we don't normally get that much color with our sunsets, this was a spectacular show.  We have other pictures from last summer that are even more scenic than this.  The mornings can be pretty special, the mountain on the island across the water reflects off the water on still mornings, it is quiet except for sea birds or the occasional bellow of a sea lion.  If anything moves on the water it is easy to see.  It is overcast or raining a good deal of the time here so these kind of shows really stand out.

Gizmo, we have lots of room but it tends to fill up fast if you know what I mean.  We have two sets of our friends and their kids coming up this summer and would not be surprised to see one branch or another of the family.  We also had two sets of friends and both mother in laws a couple years back.

I am totally open to many forms of bribery.

What a great view SS!  I'm sure you appreciate that view.  I'd give about anything to wake up and see that view every morning.  What a lucky person you are to be able to have that and enjoy it as well.
