How to link to a posting...correctly

In the past week I have recieved two E-mails asking me how to link another posting into a posting from Bradley members . So I thought I would just post a short how-to. This also works when wanting to post a picture.

Now be forewarned. If you link a picture into a posting from someone's server without their permission that in called Hot-Linking and that is stealing someone's bandwidth. Which cost money.

For example I will use this picture, below, which is hot-link from a sister gaming site. If you right click on it you will see that its URL address in not from my DoW gaming site but from the aces.kovclan.



Now this is stealing bandwidth as you are making a call for his picture on another server besides the one he is paying to have it on. (Don't worry I told 4 AcEs I was using his sig-pic as an example. [:D] He is good people, and from his sig-pic you can tell he is American.)

Thanks again for the detailed info on posting pictures. I posted one under MEAT /"Venison Sausage" and I am going to make beef sticks tonight and post more pictures of the entire process. I will post under MEAT / Beef Sticks.
