Deployments

Hi gang

As most of you know we have 4 family members in the US ARMY.

Yesterday we got a call from our one son who is in the SF 7th Group   He was to deploy for Afgh again in Aug. He told us that his deploy has been moved up to May and that's all he could say.

This morning we got a call from the FRG 1st SSG giving us heads up on our other son who is 82nd Airborne She said his deploy is still Aug for his 3rd tour.

My oldest daughter and our daughter in law are not being deployed at this time.

My hair gets grayer  :-\

I honestly don't see how you guys make it with 4 members of your family in the military and all of the tours and deployments you have gone through.  Please tell them all from Jan and me how genuinely appreciative we are for their service.  NePaS, you and Mrs. NepaS have raised an admirable family.

I'll keep your family in my prayers also NEPAS. Our local reserve unit just got called up and left last week for training then overseas.

Stay strong, Neepers, Old Buddy!  God will watch over and take good care.  I'm thankful your kids have chosen to stand on the wall to protect us while we sleep.  There is no greater calling than to protect your country.  Those soldiers don't ask for fortune or fame, money or medals.  They are our greatest national treasure and you should be extremely proud to have four of those treasures.  From one vet to another, please give them my thanks for picking up where many of us have left off.

Tell him and your daughter he is in our thoughts and prayers. At my wifes work a lady got called back up to active duty after being out for 3 years. I ask my oldest daughter who is Army Intel whats going on, of course she cant say much.
