Generator died

This is my first post hope im doing it right.When i plug in my generator it beeps all the numbers come on for a sec. just like norm. then when i try to turn on the smoker nothing works. The night before i could not adjust the time or the temp. I finley got it to work after pressing and holding the button for the smoker as hard as i could. Last night no mater what i did nothing works. Its been acting up more and more every time i use it. Now its dead. Any thoughts?

Hi OU812 and welcome to the forum.

Sorry to hear about your problems but by the sounds of it I would definitely give Bradley a phone call. It sounds like the main control went haywire but you should really talk to them. Their customer service is excellent. Keep us posted on how you are making out.

Called bradley today and talked to Brian, yep its dead he thinks the control board went out. He said he would warrenty it. Cant wait till it gets here its going to be a though weekend not being able to smoke anything. Good thing i got the two turkeys done when the generator died. I had to break out the old lump burner to finish off them birds. Now i see why i bought the bradley, it was about midnight by the time igot old blue up to temp and a smoking then went in the birds. Good thing i started them the day before Easter with all this messing around i got about four hrs of sleep. Thats when everyone started showing up any.

Just a little heads up. Last Fri. my daughter called me at work telling me i have a box from Bradley. Kinda felt like i won the lottrey when she told me that, so i went out and bought two butts for the weekend. When i got home and seen the box i was puzzled, i opened it and there was a little black box with wires sticking out. Guess what, it was a control timer for a OBS. Not Even close to what i need. This Mon. i called Brian again told him what i got he kinda chuckled and asked who processed the order when i told him who it was he kinda chuckled again and said he was going to have to go to the U.S. and straighten them up. So hear i am waiting again for parts. Sure hope its the right one, this waiting is killing me. Sure was hoping to have some pulled pork this weekend.

Got my part Mon. wasn't able to do any thing till last night.
Did a test run and ready for tonight.
Doing two 5 lb butts one the normal way the outher one I'm brineing right now in some salt and molasses, by the time i get home it will be in the brine 24 hr. The rub on this one i take the salt out.
There going in the smoker tonight @ 7:00 with 3 hr of the M word. By the time the smoke is done i should have the lion and chicken's rubbed, injected, wrapped up and in the fridge for sat. smoke.
Ill post something Mon. Can someone splain to me how to do the picture thing?

Trying to post a picture but can't get the d*m thing to work I get to step 3 and thats where I'm lost.
I click on the "IMG code" and it dont say "copied" it has stuff that looks like in the write up.
I tried to do step 4 but when I hit CTRL-V the screen gets smaller or i just get a "V"
Im new to this kind of stuff so plian english would help greatly.

When I recieved my Bradley smoker, It did the same thing.
Bradley service said to open the generator, and check the wires.
Sure enough, one of the wires was not seated in the socket tight.
No problems since.

When you are attemting to copy the IMG code, move your cursor or pointer over it and left click it to highlight it, then right click. You should see "copied".

Now go to your post in the forum and hit ctrl-v. You will not see the pic you're posting. You will see the IMG code.

When you are finished, close the post so you are back in the list of threads. Now open your post again and see if you see your photos.
