Got the point and flat separated and seasoned up.

In the smoker set at 225 with 4 hr Oak. Goin to spritz these with a little of this, a little of that and a dash of a couple more things.

We almost ate the whole flat in one sitting, vac sealed the point for a later date.

Looking at the amount of Gentleman Jack left in the bottle, it looks like somebody got hammered.
As always, nice looking smoke OU. Beautiful dark bark. Nice sides and the homemade rolls with melted butter must have been fantastic. Mashed potatoes with brown gravy; green beans to boot. An empty whiskey bottle. You would transplant easily in the South.
