Never cooked it before. My friend gave me a few packages. I thawed out some cutlets and asked for suggestions in the chat room Tuesday night. CRG suggested bread and fry. OK.
I soaked them in buttermilk for about an hour. Hey, it works for fried chicken ;)
Shook off the excess buttermilk and sprinkled each side liberally with gun powder and then into the bread crumbs.
I was kind of expecting dry and tough - BUT - they were terrific! Made some milk gravy with fingerling potatoes and asparagus on the side.
My wife wouldn't stop saying Mmmm, MMMM all during dinner. She wants more.
