If you have a multimeterslope game, compare the resistance of that new element to the old one if you want to see how worn the old element was.  A new element will read around 30-32 ohms. You can verify that direction doesn't matter by switching the leads and you'll see that the reading is the same either way.

I think so

The panko and bacon topping only add to the flavour of the cheese.....curious to hear from anyone who tries it.

This recipe sounds fantastic, especially with the use of extra sharp cheddar and Monterey Jack for a creamy, flavorful base. Ahhhhhh I'm hungryyyyyy.

Yesss, smoking raw eggs can infuse them with a richer, more intense flavor, but it requires careful monitoring to avoid overcooking.

It sounds like the issue might be with the temperature control or thermostat rather than the heating element, especially if the element is still producing some heat. Check if the temperature sensor is clean and properly connected, as a malfunctioning sensor can cause inaccurate temperature readings.

Yeah, it's been tough finding replacement elements lately. It seems like they're not making them anymore.

For the heat issue, besides the heating element, I'd check the fuse and the wiring connections. Sometimes a loose wire or a blown fuse can cause heating problems.

Instead of cutting the cord, you might want to check if you can find a replacement plug.

Hi Ali,

Sorry to welcome you to the forum in thw manner.

The earlier versions of the digital models had issues with the display panel, but most of those issues have been worked out. The problem was that the buttons did not respond unless you pressed them dead center, and firmly. If that works it may only be a temporary fix.

Since your smoker is only two years old, it may be untimely ware and tear, and I don't know of any fix other than to replace the panel. Send an email or call Bradley customer service, to see what they have to say.

General Discussions / Bradley Advance and Oven temp
Last post by Aly - July 24, 2024, 03:32:22 PM
I have an electric Bradley Smoker 4 rack about 2 years old.

The puck advance button and oven temp buttons don't seem to work.

I can press the oven temp and up and down arrows nothing happens.

I turn the smoke on and it does the puck advance but pushing the puck advance does nothing !

The up and down arrows work for time settings.

Any guidance appreciated there is no error codes !
