I am running to the grocery store after work to pick up the ingredients, post a recipe or a link if you have a good one!

I usually keep it pretty simple when doing a brisket. Just some salt and pepper and maybe a little garlic powder(i put garlic on almost everything though).  I don't like to overpower the brisket flavor.

If you want to read about rubs all day, just put "brisket rub" in the google machine, and go get a tall glass :D
I used the first rub for my brisket that I am going to do this weekend. Hope you find one that you like!!

I'm a big fan of the TX style rubs.  I use them on briskets, ribs, and chicken.  My only advice is if you use a rub on chicken and also brine the chicken, reduce or leave the salt out of the rub othewise the chicken will be very salty.
