... Family that you have to see once a year.

Heck, they come over almost every weekend to see what's cooking.  They're also coming on Friday, after TG to decorate the tree.  The younger one is lactose and gluten intolerant.  She volunteered to buy snacks that she could eat, hold it down to $20 and we could pay her back.  I think we're failed parents  >:(

Did a batch last Sunday.  The side of the Bisquick box has the exact same recipe as the original recipe that started this thread.

Decided to experiment yesterday.  What the heck, these things are so simple to make.

Used shredded, smoked pepper jack for the cheese.  Put some EVOO, granulated garlic and a couple of pinches of dried dill weed in a bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds.  Then let is sit for 20 minutes to 'mingle'.  Brushed that on top of the biscuits.  They were a real hit.

I made a batch of these today.

Added some garlic powder to the mix and used smoked pepper jack cheese.

They disappeared fast and where a big hit.

Thanks for the recipe CRG.

For Christmas I received a box of Tastefully Simple Parmesan Biscuit mix.  Not bad, but hardly the cheddar biscuits of this post.
Seemore made them yesterday.  I just retrieved one from the kitchen, put it in my pocket, and ambled my way (via the walker) back to the computer.
The DIVA (aka Tasha) was right at my side the entire time - she smelled the dang biscuit!
I might have to tag team with seemore in the kitchen this weekend and throw together some of these cheddar biscuits - I can mix the stuff in the bowl, and he can put them on the baking sheet and bake 'em!

We made up a batch this weekend too.

I added 1/4 tea of chipotle powder to the mix, just enough you could tell it was there but not to much the girls didnt want any.

Good to here your getting around Mrs. S

seemore

Oh, chipotle powder would be a nice touch!  And some smoked cheddar, of course!
Thanks, OU, I am not having any trouble getting around.
I quit taking the Vicodin last week - it made me far too loopy.  I have enough balance issues as you can see,,,,,,   :-[
An Advil as needed seems to be doing the trick.
A Chiro friend of ours advised me to take more Vitamin D.

OU812

Vitamin D is good for the bones.

Thats why they say drink lots of milk, it has allot of vitamin D in it.

Glad you're getting around better Mrs. S.  How's the quality of the laundry lately?  ;)

OU, the chipotle sounds like a good idea I I use it wherever I can.
