After a nice phone discussion with CRG. We came up with the following.

Cutoff date for those that would like to enter is Sunday the 15th of Nov

The Last day that your item should be shipped on or by is Friday the 4th of Dec
The shipping date is to ensure that the folks overseas will get their gift by Christmas if at all possible If anyone has a better suggestion feel free to let us know.

WE WILL BE POSTING MORE AS TO LIMITS OF GIFTS AND OTHER DETAILS

WE DON"T WANT THIS TO GET OUT OF HAND SO THE GIFT LIMIT IS $25 WITH SHIPPING

WE WILL BE CHECKING WITH U S POST OFFICE TOMORROW TO SEE IF THAT WOULD BE CHEAPER THAN UPS

TO ALL OUR ALASKAN AND CANADIAN FRIENDS: THIS IS FOR YOU GUYS TOO. LET TENPOINT5 KNOW IF YOU

I've found USPS "flat rate" shipping boxes to be quite expensive compared to "regular" USPS rates or UPS.

On this side, you save a bunch of money if you use the flat rate shipping anywheres west of the Mississippi. That is where you get the greatest savings.

As Luck would have it. We currently have 16 people interested and 8 live East and 8 live west of the Mississippi

You don't want to select people that are too close together though.  I think a cool gift would be regional stuff ,  if I were to get Arnie I wouldn't be able to do something like that (not that I could anyways, I don't think CT has any food that's just in CT ??? (that would be connecticut, not carolina treat :D)

Gee Deb, people are always pickin' on me.  I was thinkin' of a jar of Southwest New England Canadian California Texas Florida Nebraska Illinois rub.  That should be good for HR.  ;D  Sorry, I think I forgot Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Kentucky and the Carolinas.
