Okay all were ready and done around 8:15 PM local time. At 8:00 PM my door bell chimed and there were two armed Private security officers asking for me. They said they were here to escort me while transporting the "GOODS" to their destination in case I get attacked by a hungry animal or human and to make sure I dont change my mind and keep them all to myself. They were hired by my friends (dumb jerks gave me a scare there for a second or 60  ;D ;D). I barely could take these photos:

4 BBRs ready after my uncle took his share and so did my brother in law:

2 Racks of lamb ready for "Transport"

And yes, I made CRG's famous Red Lobster Biscuits too. Took the Garlic powder, butter and brush to my friend's house for the grand finale there

Well the result was, NOTHING LEFT.

HR,
OK, I'll be the first to ask.  Are you serious about your friends hiring private security guards to escort you?  If so, that is about the funniest story I've heard in a while.  If it's not true I fell for it anyhow.

The food all looks great.  I'm thinking you are rapdily becoming the most sought after chef in all of Amman Jordan.  Well done my friend, well done.

Great job!

Armed guards?  That is hilarious... (well, now - probably not at the time)
Did they transport you in an armored truck/black SUV?

If I ever make it to Jordan I know where to go! Great job!

... and the really good news is that, unlike the "nine ladies and cheese" episode, at least you got to enjoy some of your output this time.

KH has a very good point. HR has been accosted by 9 Jordanian women over smoked cheese and then 6 big Jordanian men threaten him over lamb and pork ribs and then force him at gunpoint to deliver the goods.

HR, just what the hell kind of people do you associate with over there? ;) :D

All in good fun HR.

Sounds like everything turned out as great as it looks HR.

hey Carolyn and Squirt,

I did not even notice that Zelda was in the picture. I did keep a close eye on her as she could be devious. That is our 10 months old doberman and the computer logged on the forum was purely coincidental.

HR,
I know Seemore will ask the question So I will ask it first. Zelda got a lazy ear? I see she still has it wrapped.

Dang HR those are some good looking ribs, man I need to get busy on some food going to the market today... ribs sounding mighty good

That all looks great, cant say I have ever had lamb, it is a bit pricey around here.

I see your dog sleeps in the same place as my boxer, on the couch, and if you sit down next to her she snorts at you then gets up and goes to my room and sleeps on my bed with her head on the pillow.

Hey there KN, yes it is a true story and the two armed men showed up at my door in uniform side arm and all. My uncle was here to pick up his share and was worried that could be some thing else so he insisted to give me a ride where I was going and he did. When I got there, they escorted to the second floor where my friend lives had a taste, got paid and left. They were driving a black Honda SUV with the company logo on both side and they had those flashing (strobe) headlights. It was hilarious but the made me feel important for about the 20 minutes the whole thing took.

Quote from: Hopefull Romantic on October 15, 2009, 03:37:12 PM... since I am in Jordan, it is boring because I have no competition like you guys do.

HR - Have you noticed yet that we only compete with photos (and you are pretty high on the winner's list).  Maybe we should get everyone together for an "International Smoke-Off"  around this time next year.  We can't meet halfway between Jordan and Hawaii (we'd get pretty wet) but we could always agree on somewhere near the east coast and lie about it being the midpoint.  We could ask Begolf to host - Yard & Pool has plenty of toys tools to use; all we'd have to bring is meat and appetites (and, oh yeah, cameras).

I am in KH east coast sounds good to me.
