HR...Great poem.  Thanks!!!

CRG and Caneyscud...He has to pass the "ABT Test."  If he can't eat an ABT....not good enough!  If you're not too crazy for him...it's the "ADT Test."   :o

If you can't smoke it.....you don't need it!!!

Tell you what Caney, next time she wants some Q, I'll send you the money and do the Q and keep 1/2 for doing it.

Is that a deal?

Just a little update.

Daughter made it Home late Thursday and had hoped to go out to eat, but instead we go it to go at our fave place.

"Shrimp Boat Manny's"  A nice Cajun restaurant with all the goodies we like. Daughter worked there during H/S. Great food.

MENU: Bloumin Onion with manny's pink sauce.
5 lbs of Boiled Shrimp (Hot Spice)
5 lbs of Boiled Shrimp (Mild)
          Tub of Chicken/Sausage Gumbo w/rice
          Tub of Crayfish e'toufee w/rice
          2 lbs of home fries
          ahellofalotof seafood hushpuppies
5 lbs of butterflyed double dip (with rice flour) shrimp

What a feast. Was so full after supper, I was miserable, but the nice thing was paper plates, no dishes.

Was a fun time, Lots of laughs.

Manny came from Lafayette, La. He came down here not to start a restaurant, but to get a job on a pipeline.
He work 20 on, 10 off. So on his days off he started selling food off the side of the road. Guess what happened
from there. He has "THE" place in this town and his food has never suffered in 30 plus years.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Tiny Tim

Tiny Tim

I see.  I usually only have a single bag for my take out....didn't even think about extra baggage.  Carry on. :D

Tiny, there were 15 plus people at the house and a cple were xtra plus.

We had a good time.

ArnieM

Actually, the price sounds pretty reasonable to me.  That's about $10/lb for the shrimp, let alone all of the other stuff AND having it cooked for ya.

As I've gotten older (it took years of practice) I can't eat as much anymore.  10-15 years ago I could easily knock off a 24 oz Porterhouse.  My wife and I had a one pound Steelhead fillet on the grill for dinner tonight and we have leftovers.  The real problem is that I still need bigger pants.  :-X
