First smoke in the new unit

I have a vent on mine and had to build a custom damper
Took 2 lids for canning and sandwitced between a them a piece of silicone cut from one of those flexible cooking sheets.
rivet together and works great

Looks nice, awesome job.

Wonder if you could use that floor heating strips or mesh like they use up north in floors under your bricks.
Pre-heating your bricks would be off the chain.

This went through 2 floods
under 5 feet of water( not the Bradley smoker unit )
had to re-season it each time
after sterilizing it with a pressure washer and lots of Bleach.........

Jared, I found you some racks.....18 x13 so you could put two a shelf. they are $7.00
