When you survey wreckage like that (he didn't even show ALL the pics of what all we had setup - and the after)...
You can't even get your bearings at first - Yeah, you notice what you see destroyed...
A little while later, you begin to notice some things have totally vanished...

I'll never forget MrC sayin'... "Uhhh... I found that OTHER umbrella"...

Deal me in. Just trying to help a dear friend out by cooking for 1100 people. Briskets, and pork butts. Had 4 big iron pits going, helpers all lined out, meat seasoned and on the pits, just sat down to relax and wait........ When a freaking tornado came through and demolished our cooking area. AND smashed my truck with a tree! I think it was the first and only time I have ever screamed like a girl and ran for my life.

Loading the pits

Oh no!

I have looked everywhere for the after shots of the cooking area and can't find them. It was a mess and was ankle deep in water. Limbs and trees down everywhere. We looked like drowned rats.

Bacon is the Crack Cocaine of the Food World.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

We didn't have any damage, but it made a helluva mess of our cooking area..

Day before:

First glance after the lightning stopped:

After the water stopped rushing through the yard, we tiptoed out there:

Cinder blocks thrown over his fence:

(found one hanging in that tree)

Still missing 1 umbrella...

I found it.  On the other side of his house..  100' away.

Glad you are all safe.

Is that a picture of you grilling on your Commercial Series ---- in the midst of all that?

Happy Grilling!

Yeah, we cooked up a storm (ha) that weekend...

I think we did 20 pounds of wings that night by the light of my cell phone. (in the mud, under an umbrella, as more rain came after that big storm)
